The image viewer enables you to view a high resolution image in its own resizable window. It it possible to open multiple images by opening multiple windows.
You can open an image by clicking on its thumbnail. Thumbnail images are associated with image series. You can navigate to them by finding a gene and either choosing to compare several of its image series, or select one of its experiement's details and click on the link to view its images.

A context menu augments the features made available by the toolbar in the Image Viewer window. Expose the context menu by right-clicking from a Windows PC or Control-clicking from a Mac. Alternatively, most of the context menu features are also available by clicking "More Tools" on the Image Viewer toolbar.

When you print an image from the Single Image Viewer, the image in the printout will appear as it does on the screen. Not only do drawings and/or text appear in the printout, but interface elements such as the Drawing Tool, the image name (which you can move by clicking and dragging) and the toolbar also appear.
To expose or hide interface elements before printing, select "Image Viewer Display Setup..." from the context menu selecting the elements you want to appear.
